Challenging Rape Culture
In this interactive training, participants will gain a better understanding of the intersection of sexual violence and incidence and prevalence of STIs/HIV while identifying (and challenging) their own values and beliefs around rape culture. The training will include lecture, facilitated discussion, and engaging hands-on activities for various professionals that work with youth.
In this training, participants will:
- Gain an understanding of the difference between rape culture and consent culture.
- Review relevant and current data on sexual violence and STIs.
- Examine the connection between sexual violence and STIs.
- Reframe curriculum and other program content to challenge rape culture and promote consent culture.

Tools for Creating LGBTQ+ Inclusive Spaces
This full-day training is for professionals committed to creating inclusive spaces for people of all sexual identities and genders. This training covers vocabulary, using gender neutral language and correct pronouns, and answering tough questions, as well as provides opportunities for skill building utilizing real-life examples plus more. Sexual Health Education Essentials is a foundational training meant to prepare sexual health educators, school personnel, and other youth work professionals to support young people. Training content is data-driven and aligned with best-practices in the field of adolescent sexual health promotion. Topics covered during pre-work and live training include holistic sexuality, adolescent growth & development, reproductive health, responding to sensitive questions, values in sexual health education, consent, contraception, and more. Sexual Health Education Essentials is recommended for anyone new to the field of sexual health education or for trusted adults working with young people in any capacity who wish to gain knowledge and strengthen their skills.

Reproductive Resources for Students
Youth-friendly reproductive resources are important to ensure young people will seek the help and information they need. We will discuss the components of youth-friendly resources, as well as highlight websites, social media pages, phone numbers, local clinics, and apps, including GCAPP’s TMI-Georgia. TMI-Georgia was created by young people for young people to have access in meeting their sexual and reproductive health needs.
