Child Abuse: Recognizing Signs & Intervening
Participants will gain knowledge and develop skills required to recognize signs that a child might be a victim of abuse or neglect. Participants will learn two ways to use mandated reporting as an intervention.

Social Emotional Learning Webinar
Social Emotional Learning (SEL) has become a framework that many schools are using to bolster students' academic achievements as well as their social and emotional skills. Teaching SEL in the context of comprehensive sexuality education can help young people develop the understanding and skills needed to navigate healthy relationships and healthy sexuality throughout their lives. In this webinar, participants will examine SEL foundations and how to utilize core understandings to enhance their sexuality education classrooms, including a focus on decision-making, relationship building and consent. Join us for an interactive training to learn the basics of sexual health. Through activities and discussions, participants will learn the basics of the male- and female-bodied reproductive systems, STIs, and various birth control methods.

There are many options for sex education curricula; it can be overwhelming. Participants will discuss district wants and needs and various curriculum options to decide which curriculum is a good fit.

Understanding Pregnancy Options
During this session, participants will develop a basic understanding of conception and the stages of pregnancy, and learn about medical and legal details of pregnancy options including Parenting, Adoption and Abortion. They will also complete a values reflection activity designed to help them identify areas of bias or potential conflict in their discussions of pregnancy options with the community.
